Das Streichelbiotop macht einen weihnachtlichen Ausflug ins UWE nach Etzdorf. Unsere Bewohner haben die dortige Galerie mit verschiedensten Arbeiten aus dem Streichelzoo bestückt. Von den fließenden Formen von Toymaster Flash, die grafisch, malerischen Geistwerwelten von Guido Günther, die mystische Wesen von Gosp bis hin zu den Oneliner-Kreisen von Markus Esche kann man an diesem Wochenende etliche Arbeiten noch mal neu und anders betrachten.
Wenn es draußen kalt wird, glüht es im Umspannwerk Etzdorf – kunst- und mollig! Unter dem Motto „Tradition ist nicht das Halten der Asche, sondern das Weitergeben der Flamme“ lädt das Kulturnetzwerk UW Etzdorf zu einem besonderen Weihnachtsmarkt ein, bei dem Kreativität, Handwerk und Gemeinschaft im Mittelpunkt stehen. „UWE glüht“ ist kein Weihnachtsmarkt wie jeder andere. Zahlreiche Künstlerinnen, Künstler und Handwerkerinnen und Handwerker aus der Region laden ein, eigene Ideen zu verwirklichen – ob beim Filzen, Schmieden, Drucken oder in der Naturfloristik. Wer möchte, kann Weihnachtskarten gestalten, Gläser gravieren, Moosbilder oder Flechtsterne basteln oder sich in der Vogelhauswerkstatt ausprobieren.

The Streichelbiotop is taking a Christmas trip to the UWE in Etzdorf. Our residents have filled the gallery there with a wide variety of works from the petting zoo. From the flowing forms of Toymaster Flash to the mystical creatures of Gosp to the one-liner circles of Markus Esche, this weekend offers a chance to see a number of works in a new and different light.
When it gets cold outside, the Etzdorf substation glows – with art and cosiness! Under the motto ‘Tradition is not about preserving the ashes, but passing on the flame’, the UW Etzdorf cultural network invites you to a special Christmas market that focuses on creativity, craftsmanship and community. ‘UWE glüht’ is not a Christmas market like any other. Numerous artists and craftspeople from the region invite you to realise your own ideas – whether in felting, forging, printing or natural floristry. If you like, you can design Christmas cards, engrave glasses, make moss pictures or woven stars, or try your hand at the birdhouse workshop.
